Due to the main bus stop being so busy we will always pick you up from here. It is right next to the Solsbury, Marlborough and Woodland Court halls of residence.

Pulteney Bridge - Pick Up Point

Coach aims to leave here by 21:10

In the centre of town we stop at Pulteney Bridge just slightly past the main bus stop there.

Oldfield Park - Pick Up Point

Coach aims to leave here by 21:20

The next stop is Oldfield Park at the traffic lights to Brougham Hayes road, opposite Bombay nights and the Sainsburys petrol station.

This is a busy road and junction, we can not wait long so please be there early!

Waterside Court- Pick Up Point

The final stop is outside the Bath Spa halls of residence in Oldfield Park.

Ticket Booking

In order to use the Better Bus you must buy a ticket, this can be done online or through one of our representatives. To do this online:

1. Click on “Book Tickets”
2. Find the day(s) you want, we will list dates approximately 2 months in advance
3. Fill in the “Quantity” box with the number of tickets you want, you can buy as many tickets as you want on as many days as you want. If the day you want is full, tick the availability box and we will email you if more tickets go on sale.
4. Click on “Buy”
5. Choose your pick-up point and return times
6. Login or register to our system
7. Review your receipt
8. Click on “Check out with Paypal”
9. Pay using Paypal (you do not need an account, but having one would make it quicker)
10. Receive your email tickets.

Your ticket will arrive in your email inbox and is a short unique code of letters and numbers. On the night please bring this code with you to the bus and some I.D. and that’s it. Nice and easy.

When boarding the coach we'll give you a stamp on your wrist. This will give you discounts and deals at some of the biggest clubs in bristol, check out the "Where to go" page for details, but is also your return ticket.

If you are just using our service as a return trip we will have you name on our trip list so please bring your unique code and also email us so we know to expect you.

If you would like to book a private coach or coaches, on any day of the week and at any times, please get in touch and we can give you a very competitive price for the whole vehicle.

Booking Cancellation Policy

Due to the very large amount of email interest we have had about organising trips and the nature of these bookings, when a promised 50 people going turns out to be in fact 15, and to the rising costs of coaches we are sorry to have to implement a cancellation policy if the number of tickets sold isn’t high enough.

It is expensive organising the coach and attending it on the night when only a handful of people have booked. If this turns out to be the case and we have to cancel a trip we will immediately refund in full any tickets purchased and try our best to get those people on a different night (at a discount). We will of course try and contact those people who had booked in good time, before any decision is made, and inform them of the situation.

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, but hope it will lead to a much better service in the future.

Bus Departures

The buses will leave on time as much as possible. Think of this as a plane or train, we can’t wait around all night for the last seat to be filled. If you are late, then we’re sorry but you’ll miss us.

Please arrive early and relax on board.

Bus Policy

Please do not eat or make a mess on board the coach. Be considerate to the people next to you. If you are feeling unwell or need the toilet, at any point on the journey, please alert the driver and they will stop for you.

The drivers are very friendly people and will help you as much as they can, but they are in charge and their word is final.

Any abuse of our staff, either verbally or physically, will result in ejection from the bus, not being allowed to travel and may result in criminal prosecution. We take abuse very seriously, don’t ruin everyone’s night.

If you have made a mess of the coach you will have to pay £50 to have it cleaned. This is a serious matter, if you are feeling unwell, please use the sick bags provided or stop the bus and get outside. We are happy to stop for you.

Refunds Policy

Refunds of tickets and changes of dates are available up to 4 working days before the date of departure, but may be subject to a small administration fee of £10. Please contact refunds@betterbus.co.uk
